Evaluation of chilli (Capsicum annum L.) F1 hybrid cultivars on biomass and fruit yield attributes, under southern zone of Karnataka

The present investigation entitled, Evaluation of Chilli F1 hybrid cultivars (capsicum annum L.) chilli suitable for green and dry market under zone Southern Karnataka. Eight cultivar where evaluated during the year kharif 2021 at Agricultural & Horticultural Research Station, Katahalagere (Davangere district). were collected from I H R. Bangaloru eight cultivars. viz. Arka Yashasvi, Ark Saanvi, Gagan,.Arka Tejasvi, Tanvi, H-23, H-25 local check (Arka Harith).The results treatments revealed that all are showed on par variation with respect to plant growth, yield traits. Sanvi was found superior height (66.83 Cm) highest canopy direction recorded,(41.75/41.44 Cm NS EW respectively).The number branches (6.79 Nos) fruit length (10.5 cm) diameter (0.516 twenty fruits weight (162.33 g) recorded in same cultivar. Individual treatment per / red F1hybrid (0.715/0.217 kg) meanwhile observed /plot also higher (11.964 /3.44 acre (2991.083/3.5566 kg/acre) respectively. And overall marketing acceptance Hybrid Saanavi is (4.5 above /5.00 points).
